Country Chocolate Cake

1 C sugar
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
dash of salt
5 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp red food coloring
1/4 Coil
1 C cold water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

In a large bowl combine all the ingredients, mixing until smooth. Pour the batter into an ungreased 8 inch pan.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar and I like to serve with fresh fruit such as raspberries or pineapple.
